Upcoming Events

Originally planned for early March, our organization meeting will be delayed to later in the spring.

Potential service programs for the new Kiwanis Club are:

• Sponsorship and support of the Key Clubs at George Ranch High School and others in LCISD
• Sponsoring new Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs to develop servant leaders who can organize their own projects and discover a love for volunteering
• Disaster relief packs and boxes for local or regional assistance
• Training on disaster relief and preparedness
• Reading programs for kids in early elementary schools
• Scholarships for high school students
• Dental baggies (toothbrush, paste, coloring book on taking care of teeth, and more items) for 1st and/or 2nd graders
• Little Free Libraries
• These are just some starter ideas proposed by prospective new members
